This site is devoted to a small ( about 40000 residents), relatively ancient (it is about 400 years old) town, which is lost in the specious Khmelnitsk Region. 49'44 altitude, 27'08 longitude. If one arrives from equator, the town is located left from city of Kiev. Kiev is the capital of Ukraine. Ukraine is located in Eastern part of Europe. The site does not aspire to depict everything fully and objectively. I simply wanted to make it, and I made it. (April 2001) There appears a question, why did I make site about this not so remarkable town. The answer is simple. I had a joy to be born, and to spend seventeen, far not the worst years of my life, in Starokonstantinov. Someday this site will have lots of interesting details, but for now it has only hundred photographs with my comments and a fence, where messages can be written. (June 2001) Anyone who feels like sending me any related materials - I will publish them readily on this site. |
