Lately many Ukrainian newspapers talked about kind of sensation-in city of Starokonstantinov there appeared an image on a wall of the cathedral. Religious people, of course, consider it to be God's Mother. Plus, this same cathedral and the tower ( one that I mentioned during first excursion), and the surrounding territory were taken away from police department, and given to the Church. As a result, the territory became somewhat cleaner, although, nothing else changed.

Here is that image, the woman's face. To the left from it, there is the image of a man ( some women, who came here to pray, said, that this is the "saint" ). I still do not understand, what is, particularly, making it the "miracle". Someday there was a fresco painted on this wall, and this" miracle' is nothing but leftovers of the fresco. Some traces of the dress can be noticed under the " image", the dress was executed in color. This picture exists for three hundred years already.

That same women, that came to pray, is on a photo. She was praying for a long time and very diligently, but when she started to speak, it was clear, that all the thoughts in her head were long replaced by the quotes from the Bible.

Here are more frescos, but somehow no one considers them a miracle. Also, there are halls from the gun shots. ( Reminding, that a year earlier, local police department had a shooting-range here). There are not so many nations, who's treatment of their cultural heritage is so barbaric.

This is how the cathedral and my favorite tower looked before. Although, this is an opinion of the creator of this model. The model was found at local historical museum, which we had great time visiting. The director of the museum name Monchak Vasiliy Yeremeevich, used to be the principal of Public School #2. He told us that one time a couple came to Starokonstantinov, as they said, only because they red about it on this site. Pleased to know :-).
